Perennial Mix for Challenging Conditions

Our perennial mix of cool season clovers and grasses is specially designed for trails with less than ideal conditions, such as some shade and wetter soil. The seed mix includes a combination of Medium Red Clover, Meadow Fescue, Red Fescue, Perennial Rye, Ladino White Clover, and Alsike Clover, providing a hardy and resilient option for challenging environments.

Seeding Recommendations

For best results, the recommended seeding depth is between 1/4 to 1/2 inch, with seeding dates ranging from early spring to early fall. The seeding rate is 12-15 lbs per acre, and our mix is available in sizes of 3 lbs net (seeding approximately 1/4 acre) or 50 lbs. Prior to planting, it is advised to conduct a soil test to determine the best lime and fertilizer recommendations. In the absence of a soil test, applying 0-30-30 (N-P2O5-K20) at planting can help promote growth and establishment.

Rugged and Versatile Mix

With a combination of clovers and grasses, our perennial mix is both rugged and versatile, able to withstand various conditions while providing lush and sustainable ground cover. Whether you're dealing with shaded areas or wetter soil, this mix offers a reliable solution for maintaining trails that are both functional and visually appealing. Trust in our blend of quality seeds to help you achieve a vibrant and resilient landscape.
