Fast Growing and High Yielding
This blend is not only attractive to deer but also fast-growing and high-yielding. Palatability increases with hard frosts, making it even more appealing to wildlife. With a seeding depth of 1/4 - 1/2 inch and a seeding rate of 6 lb/ac, you can easily plant this mix in late summer to early fall. Available in a 3 lb net size, which will seed approximately 1/2 acre, or a 50 lb bag, this mix contains 33% Daikon Radish, 17% Purple Top Turnips, 17% Kale, 17% Rapeseed, and 17% Winter Camelina.
Complete Nutrient Recommendation
For the best results, make sure to soil test for optimal lime and fertilizer recommendations. If a soil test is not available, apply 100-30-30 (N-P2O5-K20) at planting.
This mix was amazing! Planted august 15th its now nov 18 and its tall, and the radish tops and turnips tops are getting massacred. Several frosts havent hindered this stuff at all. Looking like itll probably last all winter. Had one radish that had to be 12lbs.
