Experience a highly attractive mix throughout hunting season and into winter with our specialized Brassic Blend. The leafy forage of this mix is designed to attract deer during the early season, while the bulbs provide a late-season attractant. This makes it the perfect late season food source for deer, staying green well into fall.
Fast Growing and High Yielding
This blend is not only attractive to deer but also fast-growing and high-yielding. Palatability increases with hard frosts, making it even more appealing to wildlife. With a seeding depth of 1/4 - 1/2 inch and a seeding rate of 6 lb/ac, you can easily plant this mix in late summer to early fall. Available in a 3 lb net size, which will seed approximately 1/2 acre, or a 50 lb bag, this mix contains 33% Daikon Radish, 17% Purple Top Turnips, 17% Kale, 17% Rapeseed, and 17% Winter Camelina.
Complete Nutrient Recommendation
For the best results, make sure to soil test for optimal lime and fertilizer recommendations. If a soil test is not available, apply 100-30-30 (N-P2O5-K20) at planting.
This mix was amazing! Planted august 15th its now nov 18 and its tall, and the radish tops and turnips tops are getting massacred. Several frosts havent hindered this stuff at all. Looking like itll probably last all winter. Had one radish that had to be 12lbs.
Was not nearly enough for the 1.5 acres I had tilled up. Bought the right amount, I found double the amount of the same seed combo for less than I bought from here. And I didn’t have to pay shipping.

For that mix, it is important not to over seed, as the brassicas will run out of space and the growth will stunt. Sometimes for small seeds like brassicas it is helpful to mix with another product (pell lime or something similar in size) so that it is easier to broadcast. Planning on planting this in south central pa.. I am just curious on timing.! Im looking to beable to hunt over it starting October
Thanks for the review. I would reccommend planting in early to mid August for your area. That should give you good growth for hunting in October.

Trying a new food plot, my old style of Throw and Grow works, but I wanted a later forage for the deer into the winter months. Tore up some earth, spread this out, with out any fertilizer prep and so far it’s sprouting, hope to see some activity later this month and into the fall and winter months.
Planted in mid August here in Pennsylvania came up great 3 deer were shot out of plot first week of November during archery season will definitely plant it again this year quality product
