Winter Pea Seed - 5 lb bag. Winter peas are a high preference forage for deer. The crop is a cool season annual legume with good winter hardiness and very easy to establish in fall food plots.
Seeding depth: 1 - 1-1/2 inch. Seeding date: late summer, early fall. Seeding rate: 50-70 (broadcast), 30-50 lb/ac (drilled). Size 5 lb net (will seed approximately 1/10 acre).
Soil test for best lime and fertilizer recommendations. If no soil test available, apply 0-30-30 (N-P2O5-K20) at planting.
