Premium Lawn Seed Blend

Our premium lawn seed is a traditional Kentucky bluegrass blend perfect for most lawn areas. The improved bluegrass varieties in this mix offer enhanced drought and disease resistance, as well as rapid spring green-up. This blend thrives best in full sun or light shade but may go dormant after long periods of dry conditions.

Planting Recommendations

For optimal results, plant the seeds at a depth of 1/4 to 1/2 inch with a seeding rate of 150-250 lbs per acre. The ideal seeding dates are in the spring or fall, and each 4 lb bag will cover approximately 1000 square feet. Our mix contains Kentucky Bluegrass, Creeping Red Fescue, & Perennial Ryegrass. We recommend conducting a soil test for the best lime and fertilizer recommendations. If a soil test is unavailable, apply a 30-30-30 (N-P2O5-K20) fertilizer at planting.

Growth and Maintenance

With proper care and maintenance, our premium lawn seed blend will provide you with a lush and vibrant lawn. Regular watering and fertilization will help promote healthy growth and prevent disease. Enjoy a beautiful lawn that will be the envy of your neighborhood with our premium Kentucky bluegrass blend.
