Ethiopian Cabbage Seed - 5 lb bag. Ethiopian cabbage is a brassica that works great in grazing or as part of a food plot mix. The leaves very palatable. Its great tap root that has many branch roots and can break up hardpan. Excellent nutrient scavenging and fertility building. It is not likely to overwinter in the Midwest, but Ethiopian cabbage seed possibly may survive milder winters further south.
Seeding depth: 1/4 - 1/2 inch. Seeding date: spring or late summer. Seeding rate: 3-5 lb/acre. Size: 5 lb net (will seed approximately 1 acre).
Soil test for best lime and fertilizer recommendations. If no soil test available, apply 100-30-30 (N-P2O5-K20) at planting.
